Interview: Dr. Stephanie Augustin

Ellen - Can you tell us why you came in for a headshot?
Stephanie - I just started a psychology practice, specifically applied behavior analysis, and wanted to get some professional pictures taken for my new website.

Ellen - How did you find out about Ellen Wolff Photography/Long Island New York Headshots?
Stephanie - I tried searching online for photographers in my area, and Ellen Wolff was among one of the highest searched so I figured I couldn't go wrong there!

Ellen - Tell us something you want us to know about what you do, something most folks don't ask and you wish they would.
Stephanie - What most people don't know or understand about my field is that I work exclusively with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. My younger brother was diagnosed at a young age, and my goal has always been to help other families get through the confusing and tireless journey in accessing services for autism.

Ellen - What has led up to your most recent project?
Stephanie - I'm a perpetual student and seeker of adventure, and though I was happy working at other agencies, I felt that I was not doing enough. When I went into a doctoral program, I thought it was the right time to make the leap into private practice.

Ellen - Do you have a favorite breakfast?
Stephanie - Never eat breakfast, though I wish I would.

Ellen - How do you take your coffee?
Stephanie - Black with sugar.

Ellen - What's the best part about the next thing you're doing?
Stephanie - I'm going to service a demographic that has been ignored for some time!

Ellen - What was the last book you read for fun?
Stephanie - The Silent Season-Heather Lindsay.

Ellen - Pick 2 celebrities [or public figures] to be your parents.
Stephanie - Will Smith and Jada Pinkett.

Ellen - If I gave you a check for ten million dollars what would you do with it?
Stephanie - I would buy my mother a house then invest the rest in my company.
